Rob da Bank 2010-09-04 Rob chats with Royksopp

“Radio 1’s leftfield show, an eclectic two-hour mix of music from the UK and beyond. This week Rob has Sven from Royksopp on the phone talking about their new album Senior.
We have a special Genre Guide dedicated to our very own Mary Anne Hobbs which we have aptly named ‘Hobb Step’.
Plus Rob brings you his Best and Improbably Greatest Record In The World Right Now… Possibly… Well At Least For This Morning… Maybe… and this week it’s Tiga’s remix of Shelter by The XX.”

  1. Great show and 100% eclectic brilliance. From folk, reggae, pop, crazy cover, indie, annoyed cat song, dubstep, disco, shoegaze, cosmic, film score to the bleeding Beatles, RdB has them all!

There was a mysterious d’n’b banger hidden after the innocent Misty Miller track. It’s unlisted.

RdB is off on 11/09 for his own Bestival and Benji B sits in. Hope you can record, probably, his first Radio 1 outing.
